Mark has extensive experience in all aspects of the Private Security Industry. He has worked exclusively in the Southwestern United States over the past 18 years which has enabled him to develop strong working relationships with local law enforcement agencies in several cities within the region. Mark proudly served in the United States Air Force and is a Veteran of Desert Shield – Storm.
In 18+ years of Private Security, Mark has held every position in the security guard industry from security officer, to field supervisor, to operations manager, to a regional manager with over 800+ guards with multiple offices throughout the Southwestern United States. Along the way he learned every aspect of running a small business from the ground up. These valuable learning experiences have prepared Mark for the tremendous challenge of building his own company, Emerald Security Group.
Mark Grant and his wife have lived in the Phoenix and Dallas Fort –Worth areas for the past 12 years. He is actively involved in his community and in the lives of his two young boys and their sports activities in the Northwest Valley.
In his role as Phoenix Marketing and Training Manager, David specializes in developing company policy and procedures, post orders and manuals that support both ESG and our clients. His extensive knowledge and organizational skills is a tremendous asset to the management team.
David has been involved in the security industry for over 15 years. Starting his career in Minnesota where he was personally responsible for managing over 5,000 weekly man hours for a large hospital group in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. David is very involved in his church and their local volunteer work in the community.
Ernesto has been with Emerald Security Group for almost two years. He started managing our Southwest Region, based out of Yuma, and worked as a Senior Patrol Supervisor before taking over his current operations and finance responsibilities. Prior to joining ESG, Ernesto served eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps, deploying twice to Iraq, and instructing Marines on the use of various military vehicles. In 2011, Ernesto was awarded Instructor of the Year for the entire Department of Defense by the National Safety Council.
